About this car
Featuring adjustable dampers as standard equipment, this GT3 version of the Type 997 made its debut in 2006.
In 2006, Porsche introduced the GT3 variant for the Type 997. As with its predecessor, it used the Carrera 4 platform, along with upgraded suspension and braking systems. The engine, originally a 3.6-liter unit, was enlarged to 3.8 liters in 2008, increasing output to 428 HP. Electronically controlled PASM dampers were included as standard equipment.
