The first of the Honda Type R series, only 500 cars of this rare model were produced.
A high-performance variant of the NSX was introduced in November 1992. Weight was reduced by 265 lbs through the elimination of luxury amenities and the use of lighter functional components. Each engine was carefully balanced to deliver a refined and exhilarating experience at high rpm. It remains a legendary model, one whose significance in the evolution of the NSX cannot be overstated.
