About this car
This ultra-popular car was built to win the GT Class International Championship title.
Back then, the line between road and race cars was thin, and the 250 GT Berlinetta embodied both worlds. The "GTO" name marked its homologation for GT racing. A tubular steel chassis supported the aluminum bodywork, optimizing both weight and rigidity. Its 3.0-liter V-12, fed by six carburetors, produced 295.9 HP. The right-hand-drive model developed for the UK performed admirably, often finishing on the podium.
