With the All Japan GT Championship extending its turbocharger regulations through 1992, Nissan pressed forward with development, culminating in the formidable R92CP. Capable of exceeding 248.5 mph on Fuji Speedway’s main straight and generating up to 3.5 tons of downforce, the R92CP proved unstoppable, winning every race that season and bringing the turbo era to a dominant close.
