About this car
This sports sedan's refined looks hide sharp teeth.
The Tourer V was a performance model added to the eighth-generation Mark II lineup. Its biggest selling point was its power unit: a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-6 engine that produced 276.1 HP and 278.5 ft-lb of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission was also available, and the roar of the 6-cylinder engine, combined with tremendous boost, hit as soon as the throttle pedal was floored. Even so, the interior was lavish and comfortable, bringing two seemingly opposite characters together in the Tourer V.
