About this car
An electric hypercar that represents the racing spirit of Peugeot.
Peugeot returned to the top class of endurance racing under Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) regulations in 2022 after previously stepping away in 2011. Its return was marked by the arrival of the all-wheel-drive hybrid 9X8. The original aerodynamic concept eliminated the need for a rear wing, although one was introduced as part of the car’s 2024 evolution package. The 2025 version further refined those developments, resulting in the most complete form of the 9X8. It demonstrated its potential with a 2nd place finish at Fuji during the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship season.
