About this car
This F1 GTR race car took many racing titles around the world, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Masterminded by Gordon Murray, this car is the racing evolution of the high-performance road-going McLaren F1. After its debut in 1995, the car underwent continuous development, culminating in the introduction of this aerodynamically enhanced Long Tail version in 1997. The F1 GTR enjoyed a long racing career, remaining at the forefront of GT competition under privateer teams all the way through to 2003.
