About this car
A dream car that never came to be, this beautiful V12 mid-engine race car disappeared.
Completed in 1966, this was Jaguar’s first mid-engine racing sports car. Its low, aerodynamic body—reminiscent of the E-type—housed a 495.1 HP 5.0-liter DOHC V-12. Although it showed great promise as a competitive circuit machine, Jaguar’s management at the time had little interest in motorsport, and the project was ultimately cancelled. Often regarded as Jaguar’s most beautiful race car, it faded into history without ever turning a wheel in competition.
