About this car
This stock car for the street had a wedge-shaped front end and one of the tallest rear wings ever to grace a production car.
This homologation model was released by Plymouth, under the Chrysler umbrella, with the clear intention of dominating stock car racing. Based on the standard Road Runner, it received an extended nose and an enormous rear wing, creating an unmistakable silhouette. Standard power came from the 440 Super Commando engine, delivering 369.8 HP, while performance-minded buyers could opt for the 426 Hemi with more than 419.1 HP or a 384.6 HP Six Barrel setup. It was produced for a single year to meet homologation requirements.
