About this car
Equipped with DOHC V-8, this exquisite coupe was produced by Alfa Romeo in the pre-war period.
As its name suggested, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta was a stunning coupe, its body hand-shaped by Carrozzeria Touring using the lightweight superleggera method. The "8C" badge referred to the car’s 8-cylinder engine. Designed by the legendary Vittorio Jano, the water-cooled inline-8 delivered performance that placed the machine firmly in race-car territory. It's believed that only five examples were ever produced.
