About this car
The ultimate automobile by McLaren would go on to win both the BPR series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This race version was based on McLaren’s first full-scale road car, the F1. At the rain-soaked 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, the F1 GTR defied the odds, outperforming purpose-built prototype racers to claim overall victory. Car No. 59, backed by the factory and driven by Yannick Dalmas, Masanori Sekiya, and JJ Lehto, etched its name into motorsports history.
