About this car
A futuristic-looking design featuring a large central headlight, this Abarth was first shown at the 1952 Turin Motor Show.
Another Maserati highlight, an aerodynamic test vehicle, was unveiled at the 1952 Turin Motor Show. Based on a FIAT platform, the car showcased strikingly original styling by Franco Scaglione and was powered by a 1.5-liter engine tuned by Abarth to deliver 73 HP. The only example ever built was later shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in recent years, where it earned the prestigious Gran Turismo trophy.
